Review: For at least a year, I have been struggling with how sticky and disintegrating my driver side door handle has been. I’ve tried several things thinking that it was a chemical or something that I used to clean it that made it that way. Then I did a Google search and found out this is a known problem with BMW. How is that possible?? I saw that the handles are riveted and the entire door panel has to be taken apart to replace them and I couldn’t have been more disappointed. Then I found this product and all of the great reviews and couldn’t wait to get it. It went on so easily! The front handles fit like a glove, but the back handle seem not to fit quite the same way. I wanted everything to match so I put them on anyway. They don’t seem to be quite long enough for the handles. But the back handles aren’t used often, so it’s not that big of a deal. The fact that the front handles are completely restored to like new is amazing.

Title: Money well spent
Review: I didn’t know what to expect when I ordered these door pulls to fix the problem that BMW had with the factory door pulls melting in the heat of the summer turning to a sticky nasty mess, these handles are quick fix to a very aggravating problem that BMW should have handled. These pulls actually snap right over the factory ones take less than a minute to install, they lock into place and are great alternative to taking the door panel apart and replacing the factory pulls, so far I’ve had these on my car for over 2 months without any issues at all, they come color keyed to the factory interior colors and what I thought was going to be a temporary fix looks like it’s going to be permanent. Best money I’ve spent by far for any product, bought the front pair to try out and now I’m about to order the rears, a definite must have if you own a 3 series BMW with the sticky door pulls.

Title: Nice end result but tough to install
Review: I used this on the driver side door of my 2015 428i Gran Coupe. Because it is a very precise fit, it was MUCH tougher to install than I expected.I was worried that it would be a very cheap flimsy piece of plastic but it is actually quite solid and does not flex. The fact that it doesn’t flex at all actually makes it more difficult to install, but it’s also what contributes to it giving a good end result.The first several times I tried to put it on, it got wedged in place halfway in with the sharp bottom edge digging into the leather by the window controls and would go no further. Because the plastic does not flex, there was no way to try to compress it to work it into place. My first inclination was to believe that it was just too big to fit my car. I had to try installing it several times and eventually I just had to really manhandle it to push the top part up against the door at the top of the handleabsolutely as far as it would go – which took a lot of force – and finally it went into place. Much more work – and scary risk of damaging the leather – than the installation video would indicate.That being said, it’s such a tight fit because it really is manufactured to very tight tolerances so that, when complete, all of the edges are flush with the door at the top and the control panel at the bottom, and you would not notice that it was not originally part of the door unless you knew the piece had been replaced. It does obviously make the handle grip a little thicker but I honestly don’t think anyone would notice because it is molded so well to the shape of the original handle.So, while a bit pricey for a simple piece of plastic, it fixed my issue with the sticky door handle. At the end of the day, it was worth it for me although I wish the installation was more simple and required less effort. While my passenger side door has not become sticky yet, I’ll use the other handle that came in the package for that door when the need arises.

Title: No more sticky door handles!
Review: I was skeptical at first but decided to try these out. I got them in good packing and the color I wanted. The installation to me a whole 5 minutes for both handles. Once I figured out the orientation, these things just snapped into place. They fit snug and are not at all noticeable unless you are specifically looking for them. They snap onto the back side of the door handle with ease. So, if you own a BMW you know the issue with sticky door handles… These eliminate that in seconds. No cleanup, no tools, no fuss. Would I recommend them, ‘YES’ I would.

Title: Amazing fix for awful BMW handle stickiness!
Review: This is a review of “WEILEITE Front Interior Inner Inside Door Pull Handle Grab Cover Fit for BMW 320,328,330,335,M3, etc.”If Amazon would let me award this product six stars, I absolutely would. Here’s why:The context: BMW should be ashamed for letting this sticky door handle problem continue on year after year, but it is what it is — after a few years the original plastic will deteriorate and leave sticky black marks on your hands whenever you open and close your card door (see the first picture I’ve uploaded for the original state). The opposite of luxury really. The OEM fix is to disassemble the door and replace the plastic part for a price approaching $1000.The fix: This clever cover clicks into place on top of the original deteriorated plastic which only takes a minute (see the second picture I’ve uploaded with the cover installed). Of course you’re adding a little thickness that wasn’t there before, but it’s not really noticeable. Someone else looking at it or using it would have no reason to suspect that a cover had been added — as far as I’m concerned, this is a solution every bit as good as the factory OEM replacement which involves leaving your car at the shop for a couple days and being out 50x the cost of this alternative solution.I’m extremely happy with this cover, maybe more so than any other product I’ve purchased from Amazon! I’ve been so frustrated by the BMW sticky handle problem and here is an elegant, easy, cost effective solution. Don’t hesitate to buy these covers if this is your problem too!

Review: My BMW’s handles became sticky and gooey because of the heat. Bits of the melted rubbery material would stick to one’s hand like glue and I started using the side door pocket to pull the door shut.I was a bit skeptical about the product but WOW……it fits like a glove and very easy to install. Just give it a final twist to set it in the correct position. If you want to be 100% sure, use a tiny amount of super glue on the inside to firmly attach to the door handle but it is absolutely not necessary in my opinion. A great door cover and super easy to fit. Takes all of 15 seconds and Zero technical ability. Why didn’t BMW think about this for their cars and their gooey handles??!!

Title: Opens the door
Review: Bought this for a 1995 Chevy van. These handles were notorious for breaking. They are fairly easy to install with just a circlip that pops off the back. Not sure how long this one will last, but for the price, it doesn’t really matter. Appearance wise, it looks just like the one that I took off, and now I don’t have to roll the window down to open the door anymore.

Title: OMG, what garbage!
Review: Like other reviewers, I got a newer revision of this handle and it broke off as soon as it was installed, probably opened door twice to test it, happy I had a way to open the door again, then, “pop,” off came the handle from the body (see pics). Still has the factory plastic on it and luckily, it’s still in the return period. What utter garbage. Made out of lead-plated butter. Bad casting design (no support ribs like the original handle), made to “look” like a door handle, but certainly not made to last like one. Or work like one. Looking for a used one on the bay now…

Title: They do the job
Review: Looks like OEM, feels fine, but in my experience will break after a few months of regular use. Pretty cheap metal. I daily drive my g20 so on my third try I ended up flipping the handle backwards, so I push down to open. I feel like it puts less strain on the handle because I don’t end up pulling it inward. So far it has lasted longer than mounting it the ‘correct’ way.

Review: Does not fit 1971 GMC truck. Product is advertised as fitting 1967 to 1972 Chevy and GMC trucks, the groove moulding on the inside of the handle does not dovetail with the grooves cut into the studs as part of the OEM door lever assembly so I couldn’t install it. Other products from this company have worked so I don’t know what happened here.

Review: The plastic handle is worthless but if you still have the original metal handle it’s not hard to drive the pin out and use it in this new housing, just take note on how the spring sits first and it’s not hard to get it back together. If your metal handle is broken then I would not recommend this.

Review: We have a 1988 Chevrolet “ranch truck” that gets used hard and put away wet. The OEM driver’s side door handle finally gave up and snapped off. A pair of needle nose vise grips worked in a pinch to avoid rolling down the window and using the exterior handle, but this put it back to pretty much new. The OEM handle was heavy cast aluminum. This one is plastic. Will it last another 34 years? Probably not, but neither will the truck or I.

Review: Everything on this is plastic, The OE had metal handle and metal connecting brackets. I took my OE handle and brackets, cleaned, greased and mounted to this trim piece. Mounting holes lined up correctly. Looks like new once you put in the extra work.

Review: The original handle is “pot” metal. The new one is a plastic of some sort. One of the little bar clips broke immediately , but I had the high quality originals to use as a replacement. The two rear rivet holes didn’t line up with the holes in my door, so I had to notch the plastic holes. I’ll be happy if the plastic door handle holds up over time.
