Review: My old door retainer clips were mostly all snapped off and my door panel was just blowing in the wind. These were what I replaced them with. Review: Had an ongoing project that i needed to get out the door. Last item that needed attention was replacing a power window switch illumination bulb that required removal of the door panel. The OEM clips held the panel tight and several broke during the panel removal despite my best efforts. Was in a jamb and when I saw that I could have these clips delivered the next day I placed the order. Clips arrived on time and the packaging was intact. Upon initial examination the clips appeared to be identical to the factory installed clips, but once I attempted to install them the differences became clear. These clips are not as robust as the OEM clips and upon close inspection you can see that they have been thinned down. The male end of the clips will not reliably stay in the door panel during the installation process and must be retained with tape or mastic to keep them from falling out. Once they are inserted into the female receiving end of the clip, they do not have the holding power of the factory clips and are easily pulled out. Bottom line, might be Ok in a pinch, but if you expect Original Equipment results you will be disappointed.

Review: The product appears to be a good replacement for those pesky clips that break upon removal or only can be removed and reused a time or two or three. The plastic removal tools are weak and probably won’t last long. The metal tool is good for it’s purpose. The box however in my opinion, is to small for the amount of fasteners. They are all jammed in there really tight. So be it. Should be a useful kit overall though.

I gave only 3 stars because my order arrived with the bottom compartment contents spilled out into the shipping box, a little bit of bubble wrap or packing peanuts could have prevented this and an agonizing hour of sorting and re-compartmentalizing the contents.

The tool is super convenient I’ve always used a pair of side cutters and sometimes you end up cutting or ripping the head off. Wish I had this tool year ago. Title: Definitely a bargain compared to OEM Honda clips
Review: Saw body clips on a genuine Honda parts site for $.95 each. At $7.59 for 50, these come out to $.15 each. They look identical to me, though I’m sure there are subtle differences. I used these to replace several missing OEM clips and they seem to work just fine. While I didn’t visually inspect all 50, I did look fairly closely at a good number of them and the quality appears to be good. Found none that I had to discard because of poor quality or likelihood that they wouldn’t secure the panel pieces. At present, I am completely satisfied. In the interest of full disclosure, I am not a hard core off-roader, so I can’t speak to whether these clips will withstand severe side torque and stress, but, for what I use the unit for, these clips are more than satisfactory.
