Review: We had a problem with the door skirt on our 2016 LR Discovery. The kit had plenty of fasteners to replace all of the broken ones, as well as update the older, still functioning bits. The included tools were helpful in seating the trim where it needed to be. It made a quick job of something I had been putting off for a while. Going to inspect the rest of the vehicle for any problem spots and replace them as needed.

Review: $25 for a MASSIVE assortment of clips, zipclips, and even bonus trim tools? Sign me up…This is an awesome deal and comes in a really neat case that is both compact and easy to access.The only cons I can see is that the plastic containers cracks easily and that they tried to cram more clips than there are dividers in the case in certain spots, but it’s hard to complain given the sheer value here.I’d very much recommend this.

Review: My local Subaru dealership quoted me 8 and 6 dollars each for the fasteners I needed after a few broke and others were missing altogether when I replaced the low beams on my 2013 Outback. I laughed and told them I would try my luck elsewhere first. I found this item and figured I would give it a try. They are not an exact match but they work perfectly so don’t sweat it. Plus one of my beams was dimmer than the other. Went back to Advance Auto Zone and they gave me replacement. In swapping it out I broke two more of the fasteners but with a 120 of them, it’s not like it matters so it’s definitely worth buying them and just keeping it in the trunk near the spare tire.

Title: I wish I would have bought these sooner
Review: I have a 2005 STI, 2012 WRX wagon (and had a 2008 WRX wagon). A lot of times I change my own oil and do minor work on my cars myself. I think most people that work on their own Subaru’s know these clips. I’ve always tried to reuse them but inevitably they eventually break – even the ones that fasten down things I generally don’t remove. Over the weekend I notice my 2012 was missing 6 of these fasteners on the plastic frame work that guides air into the top mounted intercooler. I called the dealer, they had exactly 6 in stock. So I went and bought them, and picked up 4 of the longer fasteners that hold the plastic piece over the oil pan. After tax, about $35 poorer with 10 fasteners in hand I returned home. Later I checked on Amazon and found these kits. Like the title suggests, wish I would have known about these sooner. It’s a no brainer – I get 40 of the 3 different sized fasteners plus a tool to use to help remove them, for less than what I paid for 10 random clips from the dealer. I bought 2 sets and put one in each Subaru and should be set for life on these clips now, and can give some to the rest of my family if they need some. I played around with these a bit before installing. Seller says these are more durable than the stock ones. I can’t really tell. They seem pretty similar to me, but even if they are not as durable the price offsets me having to swap them out more often as needed.

Review: These clips are fine quality wise, buy I would say they fall short of matching OEM clips. At least for the 8mm, it has a “Phillips” style head, which the OEM does not. It also does not have the two cutouts along the rim that the OEM does, to allow for easier removal.

Review: Had an ongoing project that i needed to get out the door. Last item that needed attention was replacing a power window switch illumination bulb that required removal of the door panel. The OEM clips held the panel tight and several broke during the panel removal despite my best efforts. Was in a jamb and when I saw that I could have these clips delivered the next day I placed the order. Clips arrived on time and the packaging was intact. Upon initial examination the clips appeared to be identical to the factory installed clips, but once I attempted to install them the differences became clear. These clips are not as robust as the OEM clips and upon close inspection you can see that they have been thinned down. The male end of the clips will not reliably stay in the door panel during the installation process and must be retained with tape or mastic to keep them from falling out. Once they are inserted into the female receiving end of the clip, they do not have the holding power of the factory clips and are easily pulled out. Bottom line, might be Ok in a pinch, but if you expect Original Equipment results you will be disappointed.

Title: Somewhat deceiving by the picture
Review: The product appears to be a good replacement for those pesky clips that break upon removal or only can be removed and reused a time or two or three. The plastic removal tools are weak and probably won’t last long. The metal tool is good for it’s purpose. The box however in my opinion, is to small for the amount of fasteners. They are all jammed in there really tight. So be it. Should be a useful kit overall though.

Title: The products work great but the packaging was less than stellar.
Review: Nylon fasteners are nylon fasteners, they and the tools work just fine. I gave only 3 stars because my order arrived with the bottom compartment contents spilled out into the shipping box, a little bit of bubble wrap or packing peanuts could have prevented this and an agonizing hour of sorting and re-compartmentalizing the contents.

Review: There are fasteners in here that do work on my f150 but my only con is that they don’t look the same as the other OEM ones in the truck. Specifically the twice piece shield fasteners around the engine bay.
