Title: Smaller than expected
Review: One of the clamps on my Schumacher XC130 fell off (not sure how that happened) but I bought this to replace. It was easy to install but the clamp was smaller than I expected and is smaller than the clamps that were on the device. These look like copper/copper clad, and the original were not copper. Hopefully these last a while.

Title: works well so far
Review: I used a soldering gun to solder the cables to the clamps. As you can see, my cables aren’t sized for 50-amps (my power supply puts out only about 6 amps) so the crimp holding the insulation is a little too large. But it still holds just fine – in my application there’s not a lot of force on the cables.

Title: Good quality vs. cost
Review: I have used some of these to make high current jumper wires for testing automotive/RV systems. However I have a different use for these. When making voltage measurements around batteries, inverters and chargers using thick cables I am not always able to connect my small voltmeter alligator clips to the large connectors. I keep two of these handy to connect to the large power connectors and then connect the small alligator clips to the back of these clips. The voltmeter connections stay in place and my hands are free to flip switches or tighten/loosen things while troubleshooting.

Review: I mistakenly bought these clamps because they look exactly like the ones on my Schumacher speed charger. One of the originals had fallen off and was lost. These are good clamps but the are not built to facilitate attachment to a coopper wire as needed for the charger.

Review: Well made and good locking tabs to attach wires. Suggest you run wire up one leg of clamp and down to the bottom of the other clamp and crimp twice. Once to hold cable and the other to make connection to exposed copper wire. Strip enough wire back to double if not triple fold and twist before crimping wire for a solid electrical connection.

Title: It works for Top Vision G26
Review: The Top Vision G26 was a product pushed by Amazon and several YouTube contributers as a good value, and it sold well. But as with all flash in the pan products (like the Coleman Mosquito Delito, and Dewalt XTR 18 Volt tool platform, etc., etc…), otherwise quality desireable products fail to be supported. You can not get the OEM F18A smart battery clamp for Top Vision anywhere. And repairing the circuit is a no go without a schematic. Also the look alike DB Power F18-1 with the same numbers WILL NOT WORK. So don’t buy it. I really liked the LED display and the voltage read on the OEM clamp, but the true purpose is to start the car. This clamp has the necessary large relay and smart protection and right polarity and plug for the Top Vision G26. There is no force start button, even it looks like one is on the thumb hold. It works and is inexpensive enough to buy a backup before it too is gone. Too bad Top Vision, which is still in business, fails to support this still relatively new product.

Review: An einem 99800 mAh Gerät ( von – ich glaube – JIXIANG, Typ EPS-K08 ) funktioniert dieser Clamp exakt wie es beschrieben ist ( dem JIXIANG lagen original nur Billig-Clamps mit rotem Kästchen ohne Boost-Möglichkeit ) bei, insofern ist dieser Clamp genau das, was man stattdessen will :* Nach Einstecken des EC-5 Steckers blinken die rote und grüne LED in schnellem Wechsel bis zum Anschluss an die Autobatterie und wechseln dann normalerweise zu grünem Dauerlicht* falls nötig, lässt sich der Boost-Mode durch 3-sekündiges Drücken der Boost-Taste aktivieren,* es klackt hörbar und grünes LED Dauerlicht erscheint.Das JIXIANG muss dazu nicht eingeschaltet werden.ABER: An einem etwas älteren GOOLOO 1500A verhielt sich dieser Clamp NICHT wie in seiner Produkt-Beschreibung ausgeführt:* an den Klammern kommen durchaus 16.5 V an,* jedoch rührte sich keine der LEDs, und auch* der Boost-Mode konnte offenbar nicht aufgerufen werden( Ja, das GOOLOO hatte ich ausdrücklich eingeschaltet ).Die Ursache für dieses Andersverhalten könnte in einem Zusatz-Steckerkontakt – den ich bei keinem anderen Gerät dieser Art je bemerkt habe – zwischen den EC-5-Polen sowohl im GOOLOO selbst als auch im EC-5-Stecker des GOOLOO-Clamps liegen.Außerdem ist mir aufgefallen, dass man den EC-5 Stecker dieses Clamps hier versehentlich – trotz DO-Codierung – durchaus falsch in die Buchse des GOOLOO praktizieren könnte! Man muß ja immer für sicheren und stabilen Stromfluss den blauen EC-5 Stecker bis zum Anschlag in seine Buchse stecken, wozu dann auch ein moderater Kraftaufwand gehört.Die Abstände der beiden Pole im EC-5 Stecker dieses Clamps hier sind so groß und die Fassungen so elastisch, dass ein Fehleinstecken möglich erscheint. Ich hatte ihn schon ein paar Millimeter tief falsch drin, als mir das auffiel. Ob dieser Clamp sich gegen solche Bedienfehler schützt, weiß ich nicht und werde es auch nicht ausprobieren. (Beim JIXIANG ist die Buchse etwas anders geformt, so dass ein Falscheinstecken höchstens mit brutaler Gewalt möglich erscheint. So, wie das JIXIANG dürften indes meiner Erfahrung nach die allermeisten Jumpstarter – vor allem der Preiswertklasse – aussehen ).Nun ist es ja so, dass die GOOLOOs m.W. alle sowieso ein ClampSet mit Booster-Taste mitbringen; anders als beim EPS-K08 würde sich ein Zukauf des hier besprochenen Adapters nicht rentieren.Bei Kauf als Ersatzbeschaffung für evtl. defekt gewordenen GOOLOO-Clamps sieht’s schon anders aus.Die an der Ausgangsseite ankommenden 16.5 V lassen wohl darauf schliessen, dass man auch mit dieser Clamp hier und einem GOOLOO prinzipiell jumpstarten kann, aber welche der Schutzfunktionen dabei noch aktiv sind, bleibt unklar.Also: Für Eigner von Jumpstartern mit nur einfacher Schutzelektronik ist dieser Clamp hier mit seiner erweiterten Funktionalität sehr zu empfehlen und dabei preiswert. ( Es gibt andere Ersatz-Clamps bei Amazon, die zwar auch Elektronik in einem trapezförmigen, schwarzen Kästchen wie dieser Clamp haben, denen aber der Boost-Button fehlt und die auch noch teurer sind; der technische Unterschied wird ja leider erst im Falle, dass eine sehr tief entladene Autobatterie wiederbelebt werden soll, klar ).Wie gesagt, das JIXIANG verhält sich mit dieser Clamp ( endlich ) so, wie sich das GOOLOO mit seinem eigenen bewährt hat. Prima!Alles in allem eine Empfehlung, wenn man den Bedarf hat und sich überzeugt hat, dass die EC-5-Buchse am Jumpstarter selbst keine Sonderkontakte aufweist.NB: Statt dieses Clamps k ö n n t e man theoretisch auch ein ClampSet ohne jede Elektronik für ca. €5 weniger erwerben, verzichtet ( in vermutlich einer Stresssituation! ) bei dessen Einsatz dann aber auf JEGLICHEN Schutz vor Fehlbedienung/ Überlastung/ Kurzschluss. Ist die geringe Ersparnis dieses Risiko wert? Ok, man selbst käme mit der unsicheren Lösung vielleicht noch zurecht, aber den Jumpstarter ohne Schutzfunktionen an – möglicherweise technisch wenig bewanderte – Dritte auszuleihen, …. nicht so gut.

Review: These clamps are great. Really heavy duty and strong gripping. My old clamp broke as the housing is plastic. It is part of my car jumper so i wanted to fix it. Man this was easy to replace. I didn’t even use the provided copper thingies that you’re supposed to crimp the wire too. I just removed the old teeth and it fit right into the metal/steel clamp and i was able to screw right in. Didn’t have to mess with anything. Plug and play!! Then i just moved up the plastic sleeve to cover up the handle. Showing a picture of the original black in red to show the difference. I’ll eventually replace the red one once it breaks. I’m pretty stoked on how well these new clamps are. They do feel heavy duty no doubt.

Title: Jaws are well aligned and grab tightly
Review: Bought these for making my winch connections to a car battery. I made a universal connection cable to connect my winch to any truck or SUV which has a battery capable of sustaining 650 CCA or higher. These clamps fit the bill well. They grab the post terminals tightly and the jaws are in perfect alignment. I’ve noticed cheaper store bought pairs usually have weak clamping pressure and the jaws are usually sloppy. These seem well built.
