Review: I bought this with the intention of replacing the entire hose. (Which I could have done with this kit). However, it was such a big job, that I ended up just using sections of this to replace the broken hose in my vehicle. That was much easier to do, and I fixed two broken windshield washer hoses in a matter of minutes. The new hose seems to be more flexible and I feel like it’s less likely to break now. The kit is great if you want to do a full replacement, or if you just want to do a repair.

Review: Letâs start with the light itself.Each individual 12V light source is very bright. In fact, at night, the lights were bright enough to use as a small flash light.Optic fiber cable.Despite how bright the lights are, the optic fiber cable provided is very low quality. The fiber will have small cracks and scratches, and as a result, the light through the cable will not appear bright or fluid. Rather itâll have a lot of dark spots and overall inconsistency. Itâs not as visible to see if I were to post a picture. The optic fiber itself is also a 1.5mm diameter cable that you insert into a 3mm plastic cable with a skirt that you insert into a car trim.Youâre better off buying a 3mm optic fiber cable that has the skirt attached to it so that you have a much brighter light. Overall, I recommend you purchase a higher quality 3mm side glow optic fiber that includes the skirt.Installation is very easy. However, If youâre looking for a professional look, itâll be very difficult as it can take as much as 5-8 hours and will require removing a lot of the interior car parts.The app that you download to control the lights has its pros and cons. A lot of people in the reviews mentioned the app stopped or doesnât work. I have not had that problem yet. The app connects to your lights via car Bluetooth and contains many features such as the light color, brightness, and modes.Overall, for $40 I believe itâs just âOKâ. Youâll have to spend at least another $30-$50 on higher quality optic fiber unless youâre satisfied with mediocre light from the provided optic fiber.

Review: as a noob to this whole ambient lighting thing, im sure i messed up a few steps i need some retries maybe, my wiring looks horrendous but despite all that, this lighting kit is delicious.it made my car look great. well as great as a corolla could look but not blaming that on the 6 strips of light up plastic.the app does need a little bit of time to find the lights but once it does, it has a party mode and everything.great lights, sometimes with mixed colors like a little bit of green and a little bit of blue, you do get that weird effect of some of the line being slightly green and some of it being blue, non issue

Title: it’s okay but not great
Review: Honestly these are not the best lights to put in your car. This is why, for starters it can be hard to install depending on where you want to have your lights. The look can be messy with all the cords since it can be hard to find a way to semi hide them if you are like me and want light in the back and front of your car. When you do get them installed you have to have the little silver end piece where the light comes out connected to the actual clear strip so it will light it up with color, due to this it makes it hard to hide the cords and also gives it a messy look since you can not hide the silver end pieces either. I will say that it does look cool and does light up well at night but it is just not a clean install look. i guess if you popped off panels in your car to hide the cords behind it might look better but im not about to do that. Overall i give it a 5/10 :Update, i actually ended up removing these lights from my car because i was tired of the messy look with all the cords and stupid silver parts where the light comes from. I was also tired of having to ALWAYS fix the light because over time the silver parts where the light comes out will start to fall off of the clear strip once it becomes worn a bit. I completely change my 5/10 score i gave these light to a 3/10 since over time they become more of a pain in the butt then what it is worth to have them. from now on i am not going to have lights in my car unless they are professionally installed.

Review: I have a 96 Geo Tracker and the horn sounded like âThe Trackerâ was dying. I ordered these based on price as our Tracker is used occasionally, as it is a fun vehicle for us.Arrived relatively quickly, considering they are made in China. The packaging was impressive. Packaged in formed foam and in a box, they come with wires, wire connectors, and a metal arm/bracket to use to install. I did not use anything other than the horns as I was already set up and used what was on the vehicle.When I tried the new horns – BAM! They actually scared me; they were so loud. But, I did try them inside my garage, so it sounded really loud.I would not. Hesitate to get this product again if I ever need horns for another vehicle.

Review: Finally, after a few orders I found the clip that I was looking for. These fit the intake cowl on my 2024 Honda Ridgeline. I was trying to access the battery to install a battery tender and I lost one of the retaining push pins that hold the air intake tube in place which needs to be removed for access. I’ve tried the Plastic Restorer and Tire Shine products and they are great!The plastic restorer works perfectly on restoring and providing a new looking finish to composite parts. I didn’t think it worked all that great on rubber seals but if you just want it for plastic parts. Buy it and follow the directions. It works great!I also tried the Tire Shine product and it’s the best product I’ve tried for that. It goes on easy, shiny and with no mess thanks to the great included applicator. I love that it dries to the touch quickly and does not sling or create a sticky build up on the tire. Title: Worked ok on some parts of my Jeep, but not at all on the most important spot
Review: My 2018 Jeep has had most of it’s plastic trim fade to the Florida sun. With all the great reviews I hoped this would be my solution. Well, it was for some of it. The running boards, rear plastic bumper guard, and hood latches all responded pretty well to this. Unfortunately, the front bumper guard was not affected at all. I tried cleaning it with an IPA solution first and then applied the product. Just no difference at all. I don’t know what the difference might be between the various plastics, but the front bumper guard was extremely resiliant. So I am going to try another product.I am giving this review 4 stars because it did work on some parts, but also because the customer service from Car Guys is outstanding. I contacted them for any tips or ideas on why my front bumper wouldn’t go back to black. They gave some ideas (which ultimately didn’t work), but otherwise were very thorough and concerned. I really appreciated that. And to undescore how they are a company that stands behind their products, they offered to refund me. Since I plan to try another product on my front bumper I found this offer to be very generous. This is how you make lifetime customers.

Review: Tried this on my older Land Rover Discovery and it restored the sun spots. I took a picture of the left side without the product and then the right side after using the product. The difference is night and day. I will say you need a lot of patience putting this on, it seems straight forward at first but can be difficult to apply evenly without streaks. Overall, worth the buy!

Review: I followed instructions. Product worked great on one surface but did not on a different surface. I was left with a blotchy finish. I contacted the manufacturer and found them to be VERY HELPFUL. After providing the information of my car, they confirmed that the product would not work on that surface. They offered to refund the product. I don’t know how a person would know which surface is appropriate for the product.

Review: The shield retainers, the ones you just push through the hole, work great…once. If you have to pop them out, with the tool that was provided, they snap off. Just be sure before you push that retainer through the whole, you’re not going to want to take it out later.Because of this, I won’t buy again. It works as described, so I can’t give it a score of one. But the fact that it’s not flexible enough to be reused, it’s frustrating.

Review: I have been using a 500 amp carbon pile load tester to test lead acid batteries for many years. It works well enough, but itâs large, heavy, and tends to smell bad as it heats up when you use it. It also drains a significant amount of energy from the battery under test to the point where the user manual suggested to charge the battery after running a load, test. Also, the analog voltmeter, is not particularly accurate or easy to read in dim light or at an angle, due to parallax.I bought the TOPDON BT100 with low expectations, but I was proven wrong. The battery health (load) test works by putting a high load on the battery for a very short time, so it does not dissipate much power during the test. This has the advantage of allowing the device to draw very little total energy from the battery and thus generate very little heat. There is also no need to recharge the battery after the test. While the load is applied it measures the battery voltage and calculates the internal resistance of the battery and its capabilities for cranking amps (CA and CCA), as well as displaying its loaded and unloaded voltage. You can set the specified CCA of the battery before the test, which allows it to return a go / no-go result. One of the many advantages of this approach is that the tester is able to determine if the battery clips are not well connected before the test. I tested the BT100 on a number of lead acid batteries, including a 9AH UPS battery, an 18AH UPS battery, a 250AH AGM battery bank that I use for power back up, and my car battery which is rated for 520 CCA. In all cases, I got nearly identical results to the carbon pile tester.In addition to battery health, you can use it while starting the car to measure cranking time and the minimum battery voltage during cranking. You can also use it to test the charging system in your car, and of course, to report the battery idle voltage.Overall, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality results provided by this device. Iâve only owned it for a couple of weeks, so I canât speak to its longevity, but so far itâs a huge win.Disclaimer: I purchased this with my own money. I was not asked to write this review, and these are my own opinions. Also, I am not an AI bot although Iâm not sure how you could tell if I was 🙂

Review: The app let’s you leave the device attached to constantly monitor your battery. The load testing feature seems accurate and helps to determine when batteries are too far gone to mess with. I use it on a bank of solar panel batteries at my remote cabin to monitor charging and voltage. The graphs tell you when the battery is charging during the day time and when it’s losing power at night. Good for charging boat batteries too..

Review: This unit was highly recommended in several You Tube videos. The BT100 clearly says what it does in the manual and does what it offers when connected to the battery. For once you don’t need to charge something since the unit gains its power when connected to the battery source. The battery in my car charged up fine, but there was a lingering question as to whether the battery was in need of replacement. I could not exactly remember when I changed the battery in the specific car. The BT 100 answered my questions. The charge was 100% and it listed the battery in good condition. I did not try the other functions as yet, but the videos showed the range of capability of the unit. The cost is reasonable, and of all the car stuff that I have, I did not have anything that tested the condition of the battery. A good unit to have on hand.

Review: This tool helped me diagnose:2 failing batteries.One 40 percent health battery (time to replace too)It also tested my alternator diodes to make sure that the diodes in it are working fine.Although it does not detect a failing voltage regulator which is my main problem, it should be pretty obvious with voltage spikesOverall 10/10It also has marine cranking amps to pick from in the battery tester section CCA and anything else you might needI was gonna pick the bt200 but I don’t have any 24v systems or trucks etc so this works perfect and saves a few bucks picking the 12v option.

Title: Great product down to the great packaging
Review: High quality product from Dorman. Much better than the crappy plastic one from Chrysler. Heck, even the packaging it came in was so nicely done compared to most car parts you buy. Came with all the bolts and seals needed to install. The instructions are good for the removal and install of the item itself. I do want to note a few things though:1) You need thread sealer if you are reusing the old oil pressure (Dorman 926188) and temperature sensors (Dorman 926427. I bought new Dorman ones shown here, which come with sealant already applied to the threads. The old ones aren’t easy to get out. If you want to torque the sensors (15ft-lbs), you will need a 27mm deep socket for one of them which is pretty big. The other is smaller.2) Make sure to remove the cap and filter from the old unit before removing or lots of oil will drop out the bottom.3) Have a cheap hand pump from harbor freight ready to suck out all the fluids that drain out the bottom, namely oil. Make recommendation 2 above will help, but I feel there will still be a lot of fluids as it was the Exxon Valdez spill under there.4) Doing an oil change following the install would be a good idea as coolant, oil, and dirt mix together in the engine trough.5) You will drain coolant from the radiator but only about 2/3 of a gallon I bought way more than I needed.6) My van had lots of oil in the upper and lower intakes so I replaced the PCV valve and cleaned all the oil out with engine cleaner (for plastic intakes) and throttle body cleaner (for the throttle body). I also bought an oil seperator to install later when it comes in.7) This is a good time to replace the spark plugs also (NGK 93175, .044 gap, 13 ft-lbs) if over 100k miles.8) It is helpful to have instructions such as Alldata or Chiltons to remove the parts. Some things like disconnecting the fuel pump harness and starting the car to remove fuel pressure before disconnecting the fuel rail is a good idea. You also do not need to remove the electric fan if you just bend back the two front upper intake metal supports with a crow bar. Watch a You tube video.Good luck and thanks Dorman!

Title: Best fix for leaking factory Jeep oil filter housing! Read my review!
Review: I have a 2021 Jeep Gladiator with just over 104,000 miles and the Factory Oil Filter housing / cooler was leaking as most all will. This NEW Dorman 926-959 aluminum Oil Filter housing / cooler worked flawlessly! If youâre not mechanically inclined, do not perform the work yourself! It was a time consuming process but best value for the money! It cost more than others but the quality from Dorman is better than the OEM. Come with all needed gaskets. You will need to reuse or install new sensor as well as youâll need to drain and refill your cooling system. Make sure to torque all bolts per Dorman and your ride will be leak free just like mine! (Note) Cheap no name oil filter cone with kit, so I installed a NEW Mobile 1 oil filter. Best to change oil at this time as well! Due to mileage I also replaced ALL spark plugs and Ignition Coils as well. Trust me, you might as well as youâll see why when you have to remove the upper and lower intake manifolds anyway.

Title: Solid replacement part
Review: I replaced this in my daughterâs Jeep Wrangler that she uses for rural mail routes. I watched a few different YouTube videos and felt comfortable enough to do this. While in the middle of the project I thought I bit off more than I wanted with the number of electrical connections that needed disconnected. The fuel injector connectors were the worst. Bought a tool for those after struggling for an hour. Once the old leaking part was out and getting all the oil and coolant cleaned up, the Doorman part fit perfectly and best yet, no more leaking oil like the Exxon Valdez!

Title: Legendary fix to a all too common problem!
Review: Dorman had bad reputation, but they have stepped it up lately. This is a common problem with Pentastar 3.6 V-6 engines. The original oil filter housing is plastic. It tends to break or warp and leak oil and coolant. This kit is aluminum, and fixes this problem. It is kind of pricey, but compared to a replacement engine, well that goes without saying. It’s about a 5 hour operation, done right. This is a permanent fix to this leaking problem. For this reason, I am pre-emptively replacing this piece on my wife’s Jeep. It comes with an orange filter housing cap, signifying this job has been done. Although it is easy to see the aluminum housing. You’ll also have to use a different oil filter than the OE one. But there is a list of filter numbers on the side of the cap. It comes with all the gaskets that are needed to do the job. Some engines use two sensors on the back of the housing, some use one. For this reason a plug comes with the housing. All new bolts too.

Review: Nice option slightly overpriced, you have to use their gaskets at install as the aftermarket mahle and felpro do not fit correctly and will leak. Time wil tell how this holds up its a straightforward install just have correct tools at hand

Review: This replaced the original oil filter housing on a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee (3.6L) after about 240,000 miles on the engine. This aluminum engine oil filter housing has 6,000 miles on it so far and is working great. The fit and finish is great, and it was an easy swap from the original housing.

Review: Nice quality product, comes with all the seals and bolts you need for installation, be sure to remember it takes a 2014 oil filter for a 3.6L Pentastar engine. Perhaps an installation tip if you’re weary about this leaking ever again, apply some high heat engine silicone to the seals as well, the o ring up front is known to be the leaky culprit.
