This updated review provides additional insights into material and tool concerns:Brightness and Flexibility: While the individual 12V light sources maintain their brightness at night, the ongoing issues with the optic fiber cable, including visible cracks and scratches, persist. Upgrading to a higher quality 3mm side glow optic fiber remains essential.Installation Challenges and Color Discrepancy: Installation complexities were further exacerbated by a color discrepancy issue with one set of lights on my 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. The two separate clear plastic pieces—outer layer and inner core—continue to pose challenges, especially with the lack of stiffness in the provided plastic spatula.Material Quality Concerns Persist: A significant addition to the material concerns is the flimsy and useless nature of the pry tool used to squeeze the transparent tube into gaps. This tool proved inadequate, chipping, breaking, and getting damaged during the installation process. Title: Check before installation
Review: Before you purchase, see if the straps can fit in the creases. I had problems fitting it and because of it, it does not light brightly as it should. The product itself is amazing but installation is a problem.

Title: Lights are bright but optic fiber cable is low quality.
Review: Let’s start with the light itself.Each individual 12V light source is very bright. In fact, at night, the lights were bright enough to use as a small flash light.Optic fiber cable.Despite how bright the lights are, the optic fiber cable provided is very low quality. The fiber will have small cracks and scratches, and as a result, the light through the cable will not appear bright or fluid. Rather it’ll have a lot of dark spots and overall inconsistency. It’s not as visible to see if I were to post a picture. The optic fiber itself is also a 1.5mm diameter cable that you insert into a 3mm plastic cable with a skirt that you insert into a car trim.You’re better off buying a 3mm optic fiber cable that has the skirt attached to it so that you have a much brighter light. Overall, I recommend you purchase a higher quality 3mm side glow optic fiber that includes the skirt.Installation is very easy. However, If you’re looking for a professional look, it’ll be very difficult as it can take as much as 5-8 hours and will require removing a lot of the interior car parts.The app that you download to control the lights has its pros and cons. A lot of people in the reviews mentioned the app stopped or doesn’t work. I have not had that problem yet. The app connects to your lights via car Bluetooth and contains many features such as the light color, brightness, and modes.Overall, for $40 I believe it’s just ‘OK’. You’ll have to spend at least another $30-$50 on higher quality optic fiber unless you’re satisfied with mediocre light from the provided optic fiber.

Review: as a noob to this whole ambient lighting thing, im sure i messed up a few steps i need some retries maybe, my wiring looks horrendous but despite all that, this lighting kit is delicious.it made my car look great. well as great as a corolla could look but not blaming that on the 6 strips of light up plastic.the app does need a little bit of time to find the lights but once it does, it has a party mode and everything.great lights, sometimes with mixed colors like a little bit of green and a little bit of blue, you do get that weird effect of some of the line being slightly green and some of it being blue, non issue

Title: it’s okay but not great
Review: Honestly these are not the best lights to put in your car. This is why, for starters it can be hard to install depending on where you want to have your lights. The look can be messy with all the cords since it can be hard to find a way to semi hide them if you are like me and want light in the back and front of your car. When you do get them installed you have to have the little silver end piece where the light comes out connected to the actual clear strip so it will light it up with color, due to this it makes it hard to hide the cords and also gives it a messy look since you can not hide the silver end pieces either. I will say that it does look cool and does light up well at night but it is just not a clean install look. i guess if you popped off panels in your car to hide the cords behind it might look better but im not about to do that. Overall i give it a 5/10 :Update, i actually ended up removing these lights from my car because i was tired of the messy look with all the cords and stupid silver parts where the light comes from. I was also tired of having to ALWAYS fix the light because over time the silver parts where the light comes out will start to fall off of the clear strip once it becomes worn a bit. I completely change my 5/10 score i gave these light to a 3/10 since over time they become more of a pain in the butt then what it is worth to have them. from now on i am not going to have lights in my car unless they are professionally installed.

Review: Missing optic fibre, only 2 parts has the optic fibre.Cable were in 5 different piecesCable bent, warped and some with duct tape.Brightness is ok, its not as bright at end of the tube.I think they sent me a used one or someone forgot to check the contents. Anyway its so so.. wouldn’t mind to pay a bit more for a better quality.Was curious what I was getting..
