From the Manufacturer
ARMOR UP has been designed by our team’s experts of over 60 years. Our goal is to help our customers to simplify car care with ARMOR UP Polyurethane PPF. Use ARMOR UP with confidence and creativity for versatile applications; car paint finishes, bike frames, inside door panels, inside screens, and even household appliances. Three main features like Non-yellowing, Hydrophobic topcoats, and Non-glue transfer upon film removal. ARMOR UP Paint Protection Film is exactly what scores of US-based auto dealerships and Professional Detailing Shop use for their clients, Now made accessible and affordable in a DIY kit.

Perfect for Ceramic Coating
Despite the wild claims of some manufacturers and installers, a ceramic coating does not reduce the risk of stone chips, scratches, scuffs, and swirl marks. PPF is physically thicker than ceramic coating and vinyl and acts as a barrier. PPFs are proven to withstand rock chips all the way to minor bumper scrapes.

Matte PPF wrap on SantaFe
Both Clear and Matte PPF Available.
Wraps Securely, Removes Cleanly – No Glue or Adhesive Residue after Time-lapse, one of the most overlooked factors when choosing PPF. Self-Healing by Design – Minor swirl marks will disappear at room temperature. Versatile PPF Film – Our Polyurethane clear protective film stretches and adheres to curved surfaces like headlights, bike frames, bumpers, unlike the PVC Vinyl.
Important Note: Not Advised for Aftermarket or Repaired Paint Finish.
Get the right PPF you need to protect your investment.

Higher grade than Vinyl. Dealerships and Professional PPF shops would ONLY USE, offer Polyurethane-based PPF. Polyurethane is much tougher, flexible to adhere to round panels, and lasts longer than vinyl or TPH wrap. Quality Polyurethane PPF Best known for Car Paint Protection Film Thickness Comparison Vinyl is thinner (around 0.003″) than Polyurethane (0.008″-0.010″) and rips easily due to very little shear strength. Higher Protection over Vinyl Polyurethane Yields better results whereas limited protection by Vinyl PPF when it comes to scratches , rock chips, and scrapers.

Title: Covers scratches in satin
Review: I used it on my matte bike after I realized that scratches cannot be removed by buffing like with glossy finishes.I was not expecting it but once I applied this film, I could no longer see the scratchesThe application was not so difficult but the film sticks strongly, even using soapy water. It is easy to stretch so that helps a bit.Overall totally recommend this, bit pricy but much better value than frame protection kits.

Title: Against DIY
Review: This was mentioned, be aware of the wind. Best to apply in a garage. Also easy to apply when the surface is flat. Difficult when it curves. Unless you got the skill set to do this, I would leave it up to the pros. It’s not the product. It’s not easy, and more difficult than applying tint film on a window. I give it 4 starts to catch your attention if you are thinking about DIY. I used it on my headlights which takes a beating from sand, dirt, etc. It’s ok if it’s not perfect. If you got a show car you want to protect, pay a professional to apply PPF.

Title: Ok film but..
Review: I got this stuff first. It worked ok but didn’t form as well or as easy as the 3M film I bought 2nd. The 3M film formed and stuck better.

Title: Outstanding product for Harley Davidsons
Review: I usually run a solo seat on my bikes and had past experience of a two up seat scuffing the rear fender. I put this film on the fenders of both my bikes and tanks where the seat touches and you dont even know it’s there but it protects the paint perfectly.

Title: I’m sorry, but it’s a Fail.
Review: Film ends up cloudy after application. It’s not moldable, and doesn’t shrink to fit (heat). I bought a vinyl table cover with gumming, basically. NO REFUND ELIGIBLE. So just make sure what you want protected is flat/straight and you can cut around it (no tucking in excess).Pro:1) easy to apply on flat/straight surfaces.2) perfect thickness for great protection.3) east to removeCon:1) backing is white (not transparent like others), so it’s hards to line up, cut, and fit before sticking it on (can’t see through it until I remove backing to expose gumming)2) Too thick to mold, and go around grooves/concave/curvature.3) Doesn’t react to heat, so it won’t bond or shrink for right, and tight fit (like shrink wrap). Great for square/flat panels or lights but you must cut it exactly! I had 1 cm at the ends i tried to tuck under my lights/frame, but it kept unbonding and Popping out even after heating it.4) end result is a cloudy lense (headlight). So it would be fine for colored surfaces, but it clouds clear headlights a little bit. Product is thick so it adds to the turbid shear/haze, but in all fairness, maybe my soap/water ratio was off?I wish I could get a refund for a cut up used product :(. It is NOT a bad product, just bad for me and curved headlights. JUST NEED BETTER DESCRIPTION/RECOMMENDATION.
