Review: The coverage of this paint is a light followed by a second medium to heavy. Same as any other paint really. The over all paint flows well. I painted in 65 degree weather and yes it isn’t a mirror finish but it’s decent for rattle can paint. The color is a nice rich gloss and I didn’t have any issues spraying it. For the money it’s an average to above average value..I didbr test the durability because I haven’t had the paint exposed to the elements ling enough. I’ll update if it fails premature. I’ve used upon primers and they are fantastic. I’m thinking the same of all their.products this far.

Title: Dries really quick, descent spray pattern, durable so far
Review: I’m really impressed with this paint. I wasn’t really expecting much from an off-brand paint, but it worked great for spraying a differential cover. It went on easily, with pretty minimal prep-work (wire brush, hose with brake cleaner, and prime). It didn’t have any trouble with the off-the-shelf primer I used. It’s smooth and glossy, and to my surprise, it was dry to the touch in about 15 minutes, with ambient weather around 50 degrees F. That’s pretty quick for paint in cool weather.It isn’t advertised for high-heat, but so far on my differential it’s held up fine (diffs don’t get that hot). I’ll check on durability after a few months, but I’m impressed with this so far. Application is easy, spray pattern is consistent, durability seems ok for now. All at a reasonable price.

Title: A Glassy Shine, If You Do It Right
Review: Spray lacquer is the only way to go if you want a faultless finish. This brand has a super fine mist, which is exactly what you want if you’re looking for a high-shine result. An important but often overlooked part of getting the best finish possible is to spray thin coats and let each coat dry before spraying on the next coat, rather than trying to just get it over with and back up the truck all at once with one big clotted coat. Heavy coats of paint are the ones that stay gummy for years and look lumpy and awful. This is a good quality lacquer, which gives shiny professional results with very little effort.

Review: Got this touch up paint for my Pearl white Nissan Juke and it works pretty well I will say that the white color is a little more bright ( cool tone ) versus the original color and the Pearl shimmer isn’t as intense and it dries down to more of a satin finish but it is better than having black marks along the side of the car and for the price I can’t complain to much cause a touch up pen by Nissan is like 25$ and Pearl white is one of the hardest colors to match anyway so nothing is going to be perfect unless you just repaint the whole thing so with that being said if you are looking for a quick cheap touch up paint just to cover small damage to prevent it from getting worse and aren’t looking for perfection I’d recommend this paint

Review: I got a new car with matte black wheels last May, and I was really disappointed a few months later when I noticed all the scuffs and scratches they had accumulated. Since the base color underneath is just plain silver, it was quite obvious when I wasn’t driving.While this repair isn’t a perfect match, it’s subtle enough that you wouldn’t notice unless you were looking at them up close. Review: The website mentions “Matte black paint pen”. This was also on the side of the box it came in. First off I would call this a glossy paint as it says in the description in bold on Amazon. Also, It is not a pen. It is a small brush. It was an exact match to my Honda CRV. It is somewhat thin but this is good because you can put multiple coats and it dries slow enough so there are no brush marks (like the factory touch up paint which dries tooo fast and leaves brush marks) but fast enough that you can put multiple coats in a few minutes . It flows smoothly and levels so well that you don’t see a tell tell line where the paint overlaps the original paint. I was very impressed with this product. They just need to take off the Matte description off of the website and on the box it comes in.

Review: Unfortunately, the can of primer I received had a defective valve. When the spray button was released, the paint would continue to spray for a second or two and sputter.Worked around the problem but would like the product better if the spray valve had functioned properly.Will try another can to see if the sticky valve is not the normal operation.Dried quickly and leveled out very nice and even. Was just able to get 2 coats on about 6 or 7 square feet of surface.Very easy to sand with no clumping.If the next cans spray valve works as it should, I would recommend! 👍

Review: My clunky 2004 Honda Odyssey’s car hood had a big spot on it where the paint came off and had rusted. After sanding off the rust and feathering the remaining paint, this primer helped to smooth out the feathering and make the finished paint overcoat look nearly perfect, even for a non-expert like me.The hood could have used maybe a couple more coats, but overall, I was quite pleased with the result.

Review: Thought I could save some time running around so ordered two Dupli Color spray products, one primer and two gloss black, for restoration on steel winter rims. Having paid for sandblasting, opened the packages to discover rust on all of the cans, 2 of the 3 nozzles would not function, and it was the weekend so local stores were closed. Using Vice Grips got the one working nozzle to dispense the paint, it was awkward and occasionally spotty because of the limited spray control. Could not return the product for refund because had to make due, but clearly this product was not stored properly before sale. Would not recommend this type of product from Amazon.

Title: Did what it was supposed to do.
Review: I am a mobile detailer and I have used this once, decent product, in my case it worked really well. I was touching up the rim on a Range Rover Sport for a client, it was supposed to be temporary until I could get paint with the proper color-match for his rims. However, with some decent prep-work and using this pen, the result came out so good that when I was about to show the client where I fixed the damage, we couldn’t find it 🙂 it was like it was never there, I take some credit for that of course, any job is only as good as your prep work, but the color matched so good not being the correct color-code that the client accepted the touch-up job with this pen as the permanent fix.This was done now about six months ago, and I do weekly maintenance washes on this car and it still doesn’t show where we fixed it so the paint seem to hold up good. Definitely worth it for some light touch-ups.If you need to actually paint on the paint, I would suggest buying small precision brushes from an art store, the brushes that comes with any of these type kits or what not are usually pretty cheap or is not the proper size or softness you need, which can vary depending on the task, and the bristles will eventually go in all kinds of directions making it difficult to make a nice and discreet touch-up job.Overall, for what I needed it for this time it did the job perfectly.

Title: Bottle was leaking and it didn’t really work
Review: The photos seem to indicate that this paint will magically make your scratches disappear. I went in with a bit more realistic expectations. I figured it would at least look a bit better and keep the paint from flaking. But the included brush made a mess out of the application process. The bottle had apparently leaked. So maybe the paint started to congeal. I actually wound up with more paint on my hands and shirt than on my car. All in all, a total waste of money (in my case). Perhaps there was some user error involved (hence the 3 stars). I just wanted to make folks aware that if you go into buying this thinking your results will look just like the pictures, you might be disappointed. I guess if you have a very large scratch and don’t really care about your car/how it looks, and ANYTHING would be an improvement, maybe give this a shot. I just feel like I kind of wasted my money. 🤷

Title: It’s pure white color paint
Review: I got a rock chip on the back roof of my truck. It’s started to develop rust, so I found this cover up paint on Amazon. I like the fact that it has a brush as well as the pen blotter 2-in-1 tube. The actual paint itself feels like white out; kind of thin compared to other cover up paint that I’ve used before. This paint also dries up very quickly after application.I sand down the rust and applied 2 coats and covered up the chip. I didn’t go all professional on this cover up because it’s in a location that’s not noticeable, but I didn’t want the rust to expand either. All in all, I think the paint is decent. I will apply a few more coats in the next week or so to ensure it doesn’t rub off.Also, the paint is pure white so it’s not going to be 1:1 on your oxidized paint. I’m considering getting the varnish or clear coat to ensure the paint will last.

Title: Very difficult to use
Review: This pen is very difficult to use – it basically has to be placed into the scratch and apply pressure to get the paint to come out. I feel like I am just digging a deeper scratch into the original paint. It just doesn’t feel right to push a piece of metal into a scratched surface, even if this paint is supposed to cover up the initial scratch. And if the scratch is not as big as the applicator tip it will not stay aligned with the scratch – if it does stay aligned then it is probably making the initial scratch bigger. I am just not sure how this is supposed to work. Maybe I need to find a different way to apply this product and it will be better, BUT the cap does not stay on very well and it will probably dry up or leak out before I can find a better way.I have yet to find a PRO but there are 2 big CONS – 1) The applicator is poorly designed and requires too much pressure to release the paint. 2) The cap does not stay on so It can leak out or it will dry up before I can make it useful. (I put this in my backpack and then found it separated from the cap which could have been a real disaster if it got turned upside down). So far I am not a fan…

Review: This stuff is kinda like white-out for your car, only the liquid kind after it’s gotten all gunky. That is, it’s impossible to paint nicely, partly because the brush you’re using is tiny and nearly worthless. So you have to move very slowly while obsessively re-dipping the tiny brush into the reservoir, but then the paint starts to dry fast, so the end result is just very messy in terms of texture, which is only exacerbated when you put on the clear coat (which is hard to even tell where you applied and didn’t, due to the texture).So the paint color was really perfect, though the texture leaves much to be desired, and kinda looks like a big scab. So it’s an improvement for sure, but I would say it looks “good” either.Plus, they’re really stingy with the amount of paint you get.If I were to do it over again with a repair job that’s the same size, I would just dump the paint out into a small medicine cup or the like, and then use a small paint brush, like you’d use for painting trim. I think you’d at least get a much smoother and consistent texture that way.That said, this product really seems to shine for use on those little white dots that rocks leave behind in the surface of the paint which I think is at least partly because then you can use the tip that looks like a fine felt-tip pen (which dispenses paint when you press down on it, which as it turns out is a much simpler method of application, though it would be difficult to utilize on a larger repair area).

Review: No specific directions for use so I first watched several YouTube videos. Professionals sanded or used rubbing compounds to smooth out the area and paint between coats. I only used the included buffing tip to remove any loose edges, wiped with alcohol, applied paint with included applicator brush, then the following day I applied the clear coat. The excess unused paint should be enough to reuse for future scratches and road pitting.This was definitely worth the money and made the scratch, not perfect, but far less visible. The application was very easy, note that the Paint is not a filler and will only cover the area that was removed. Paint I used was the Ford White Platinum Tricoat, which I applied in two separate coats.

I bought this to color in around the Mercury symbols and fill in the letters because I’m painting my rims and I already did the grill and I did the hubcaps. This stuff works great! And I used it for other little touch-ups around the exterior of my vehicle. It’s really easy to use. And I didn’t realize there was more than the little paint brush there’s also a pen on it that I had no idea was there. Title: Worked great for my solvent based alkyd paint job.
Review: Considering the price and that includes a touch up gun too, this is a real bargain. The larger gun worked great for applying alkyd primer and finish coat on some structural steel for a deck cover. I would say it’s about 10 times faster than a brush and it left a great finish with the slower drying top coat I was using. I had to replace an o-ring or two that was squashed and torn from the factory. As others have mentioned, some pipe tape was needed on the paint cup threads to prevent leaking. I think I used about 10 wraps of Teflon pipe tape to make sure it sealed well. I ran my regulator at the air compressor around 75 PSI and while pressing air only on the paint gun I ran about 23 psi on the guns regulator.

Review: (painting a fence)The larger sprayer had a dent near the air inlet upon arrival which leaks air. I have a large air compressor and had to keep it running the whole time to maintain enough PSI to spray the paint.The smaller sprayer was in decent shape and works fine thus far.As other reviews have mentioned, there are no instructions for the knobs on the sprayer so you’ll need to do some trial and error to figure out their uses.I’ll probably need to buy a new spray gun in a year or so but this does the trick for now

Title: Don’t expect much, but they’ll do for now
Review: I just received this set and wanted to give my initial observations. The guns themselves are functional but pretty ugly. the blue finish is uneven and patchy, and right out of the box they had bits of finish scraped off.I hooked them up to my compressor and did a couple of test sprays. There are a couple of dials. One looks like an adjustment for the fluid volume? It was kind of hard to tell, because there’s also a dial that adjusts how far back the trigger goes, and that also changes the fluid volume. There’s also another knob on the handle, and I’m not at all sure what that one does. I’m new to air compressor spray guns (excluding the all-in-one style HVLP guns that don’t use a separate compressor) and the instructions were completely useless. They had an exploded parts diagram that was so small I had to take pictures and zoom in, but nowhere on the one-page pamphlet was a set of instructions explaining what does what, or how to properly use the guns.The included tools are pretty awful. A cheap toothbrush type thing, another cylindrical brush, some plastic bits that I don’t know what they are, and two “wrenches” that are the most awful things I’ve ever had the misfortune to destroy my hands with. After doing a test spray with the larger gun using some poly finish (which worked admirably by the way), I tried to disassemble the gun to clean, but the fluid nozzle would not budge. It actually ruined the wrench that’s supposed to loosen it, it was on so tight.I disassembled the smaller one (using my own crescent wrench since neither of the included wrenches had a size that supported the smaller fluid nozzle) and verified that I was turning in the correct direction, and I was, but that larger nozzle is on there seemingly forever. And now with the one wrench damaged beyond repair, I may never knock that thing loose (the larger one uses a weird design that requires a specialized shape). So I guess I get to use the larger gun until something gets clogged up in there, and probably destroy it trying to open it up.As long as the spray pattern is thin, it will go evenly, but you’ll definitely want to test a lot first because it’s very easy to spray too heavily.

Review: I used a remote air regulator and added a inline small air filter before the gun I was spraying enamel on automotive Surface after a little adjustments the larger of the two guns worked almost as good as my old siphon feed Binks spray gun. This first time used a gravity gun with the disposable plastic cup are nice for cleaning better then the old system. I see there are much more costly guns but wonder if would get bang for the money

Title: No problem – great coverage
Review: I was hesitant to buy these based on the bad reviews out there. They were few, but I worried anyway. I only needed 2 cans but got the 3 pack so I’d have an extra if one of them didn’t work.Happy to report – ZERO problems with 2 out of the 3 cans. As I said, I didn’t need the 3rd at this time so it’s on the shelf. Don’t see any reason to think it will be any different than the other two.The button you press on the bottom didn’t break and leak like some negative reviews. The spray pattern was a pretty good fan (unlike other negative reviews saying it was too small of a spot). And the coverage was great.I’m not a professional painter. I’ve never used this style paint before and even I got a beautiful finish first try.I would recommend for novices and experts alike.

Title: Expensive but worth it. The gloss this provides is top notch
Review: I use this for 3d printing and making my models shine. Much better than any high gloss clear coat I have tried. One thing to remember is that get all your items together before activating the 2 part hardener as it will onky br good for 2 days. It will continue to work for several more days but will eventually lock up and nothing will come out.This is also great for painting and clear coasting small areas of cars and motorcycles

Title: Works great
Review: I used this on a fender that I was replacing on my 04 sebring.. I only put the clear coat on the outside of the fender, where it gets the most wear, and where people see it.. Nothing on the inside of the fender.. I got 3 coats on the fender, and it took a full can.. Take this into consideration when thinking about how much of the clear coat that you will need for your project..As you can see by the pictures, the rain is beading up very well on the fender, but it is not beading up on the door, which was original.. I did not buff it out, or put any kind of wax on either surface..Overall, it went on pretty close to flawlessly.. So nice, that I did not feel the need to buff it out at all.. My only complaint with this stuff is the fact that once you start using it, you have an 8 hour work time.. It is not like a can of paint where you can use some now, and the rest later.. It is a 1 time use deal with this.. But so far, I am very happy with the results..

Title: Just what I wanted.
Review: I used this product over Polyurethane on a wooden countertop for a bathroom. The adhesion, hardness and water resistance is excellent and I was able to polish it to the satin finish that I wanted.

Title: BE AWARE: Professional use only!
Review: This review isn’t about the performance of the product, I didn’t even get it in time to be able to use it, but rather the lack of a full disclosure of the precautions you’ll need to take when using it.I looked again and nowhere in the product information does it disclose that a RESPIRATOR is REQUIRED, but when I got the product and read the enclosed instructions, it is written there in bold. Also on the cap is a label stating “Professional use only. This 2K product contains Isocyanates. Protective mask must be worn when spraying from aerosol can.” I am not a professional and these aren’t things I have on hand or something I want to invest in to finish a simple small project for a birthday present. I also didn’t get the product in the time in which Amazon said it would arrive, so I didn’t have time to gather said required equipment to be able use it anyway. If you’re going to be selling this on Amazon to the average person spray painting in their driveway, then you might want to give them a heads up that they will need gear they probably don’t have on hand to get the job done without risks to their health. Maybe state “Professional use only” somewhere in your product description as well. Since the product is non-returnable I’m out $30 because I’ve decided not to use it.
