Review: I just used the touch up paint for the first time and was very disappointed. I shook it for 30 seconds as per the instructions. The color was quite milky, so I shook it for a full two minutes. The “paint” never took the proper consistency. It appears there is too much solvent and too little pigment.

Review: After months of waiting, I finally received the pen and was surprised at how tiny the amount of the paint was. It works fine, but be sure to use it in an open area because the fumes are pretty strong. The color is a perfect match, and it is adequate for a small scratch due to the tiny amount. The application is alright, reminded me of nail painting so it is pretty easy to use. Good color match, tiny amount and LONG wait for product.

Review: The paint color is a perfect match for my vehicle. The first picture is the before picture. If you look closely, you can see the small speck of white chip. In the second picture if the after, where you can’t even find the speck of white chip. The third picture is the after just from another angle. This stuff is amazing. The paint is a bit thick making your mark slightly raised if you do not brush it all out. Was concerned that the paint wouldn’t match after it dried, but that was not an issue. Paint dries super-fast. Definitely going to touch up some other marks on the vehicle.

Title: Color matches, fairly seamless in sunlight for price
Review: According to the product description and the website, The KH3 Black Obsidian Touch Up Paint for Infiniti vehicles is a specialized automotive paint solution designed to provide exact color matching for scratch repair. This touch-up paint is formulated specifically to match Infiniti’s Black Obsidian (KH3) color code, ensuring seamless integration with your vehicle’s existing paint job. I recently purchased a new vehicle that had some scratch marks that even a dealership detail could not remove. I purchased this out of desperation as I did not want to spend an exorbitant amount of money on a complete rear right door repaint. I double checked the owners manual regarding the color codes as well as the VIN details to make sure it was the correct color and applied the first coatings. I am very impressed with the results considering the quote for the alternative was out of my price range. Since it’s a dark color is barely noticeable in pictures and from a cars length away, even in the shining sun. Highly recommend.

Title: Coverage was good, but color was a little bit off
Review: I took pictures, but it’s too hard to see it in the pictures (the car is shiny). I drive a black 2019 Infiniti QX50 and we used it for a few paint chips outside the car. This touch up paint worked well, it provided good coverage, however, the description said it was specific for Infiniti vehicles, but it didn’t quite match my color – it wasn’t as shiny as my original car paint, but it covered the small chips in paint well and you could hardly see the difference in color unless you were really looking for it. It definitely looked better than the unpainted paint chips. If your missing paint is small and you’re not super picky about the color, that is if close enough is good enough for you, this is a good fix for small chips.

Review: This paint is very thin. You will probably need many coats to get this to cover. Because it is thin, it tends to pool at the lowest point. (See my pic.) The brushes don’t help.I don’t have an Infinity, but it does a so-so job matching a white Subaru Impreza.

Review: The color matched both my 08 Infiniti Qx56 and 13 Nissan Murano. Applied as directed on a few scratches and paint chips and now you would never know they were there. Will definitely buy more of this color and other colors for my other vehicles from this brand. Great product. Size of the pen is about the same as an insulin pen if you’ve seen those or an ordinary highlighter.

Review: This matches my 2017 QX60 paint perfectly. I did a few small touch-ups on the edges of doors and the hood and the color is spot on! The small brush in the tube is easy to use. I’m not sure how/why I would use the other enclosed slightly larger brush, but may be if you have larger spots? I am very pleased with this touch-up paint!

Title: Misleading main product picture
Review: I bought this to use as general paint masking tape, and also to use with my CNC as a hold-down using the masking tape and CA glue method.For general masking tape, it works OK. The adhesion is a little weak, even for painter’s tape. If you aren’t pressing firmly on it you will get some wicking under the tape. It definitely doesn’t hold as well as normal 3M blue painter’s tape. But, it is easier to get off the wall, so there is a trade-off. This is supposed to be for automotive. Maybe in automotive you don’t need very good adhesion.For a CNC hold-down material, this just doesn’t have enough stickiness. I had pieces come off the table. Do not recommend for this.The main picture shows you a roll that looks like it is 2 inches wide. You’ll be disappointed if you order the 0.7 inch roll based on the picture. They need to update the main product photo so it isn’t so misleading.At $37 for 30 rolls, it seems like a good deal. But if you’re needing 30 rolls you’ve either got a very large project or you’re a pro. I think a pro would be disappointed with this purchase. Average homeowner would probably put up with the not so great adhesion.This would be perfect if you were wanting to label food in the freezer or pantry, I guess.

Review: I use a LOT of masking tape for sectioning off sections to be painted on my tumblers. Some of the rolls looked a little dirty, but they worked just fine, so I have no problem with them. The tape adheres well where I need it to and stays put until I move it. I got a ton of it for a reasonable price. I mean, what more could I ask for?

Review: This paint is slightly lighter in color than the cool gray khaki color of my Subaru limited Crosstrek 2023. It is preferable to the black scratch that was on my bumper though and I will take it. if you don’t look closely, you don’t notice the scratch anymore. It comes in a handy portable shake up container with a brush attached to the lid.

Review: My Black Pearl Subaru Impreza was quite thrilled when this bottle of touch up paint came. I was able to effectively cover up all the various nicks and scratches accumulated over the last several years of use. Fortunately, it’s barely noticeable except for areas with larger scratches or along seams where the variance in color is more noticeable. There’s nothing this kit could do to improve that however, short of including perhaps a top coat to make it less noticeable. That being said, it likely would have some variance in the thickness that would be just as noticeable so, given the circumstance, this takes the attention away from 80-85% of the scratches previously that were more noticeable on my vehicle. I’m very satisfied!

Review: The color is good, but that’s not the issue. It’s not a pen, it’s a brush much like nail polish only the paint is runnier and dries in half a second. And doesn’t dry smooth, it leaves a line and a pool of paint at the end that you can’t really feather out because it’s already starting to dry and then it smears. And you can’t get it off. I emailed the company to let them know and see about ideas on how to remove it and basically I need to bring it to a body shop. My suggestion is to try it out with a qtip and not the brush, try it in a spot that’s not by the drivers door, ugh. And be ready for it to dry in a split second with no chance to remove if it goes wrong. If it was a pen tip, very thin, that would be nice for small scratches like what I have. Now my car looks much worse. Really sad about it as it’s a new car to us.

Review: The photos I uploaded show this being used on plastic auto trim. I used only the brush in the cap. It’s difficult to brush in smoothly and evenly over an area of this size. For small scratches and chips this should work well. But practice first and maybe try applying with a toothpick or smaller brush for the small spots.

Title: Hard to get smooth
Review: I got this to cover a ding that was beginning to rust. The color matched well, but I found both the filler and the paint difficult to get smooth. The resulting blotch is covering the bare metal, is camouflaged enough to not stand out, and is saving me hundreds of dollars by not having it professionally done. The professionals would only paint the entire hood, not just fix the spot. Now I know why.

Review: This is Rapid Red, with the rapid red touch up. It’s better than the chipped off lack of paint that was there before, but the touch up is a bit darker and not quite right. The applicator was kind of tough to use. Would recommend using something other than what it comes with. Overall it will still need to have a new paint job, but this will do the trick for the time being.
