Review: The container carrying these touch-up brushes is a letdown. I broke the cap the very first time I tried to open it (it just tore off) and it feels like it is sitting upside down anyway. I have purchased similar products from car paint shop providers and their containers are much better designed. The brushes themselves are also thicker than I was expecting. But, they do perform so that’s the positive.

Review: It’a not a perfect match, it’s runny and it takes a while to dry. But for $6 it’s exactly what I expected and the results are fine. Good for small chips, not great for larger scratches. The key is to be patient, which I am not. It’s good if you make a mess because you’ve got time to clean up, but not so good if you’re expecting immediate results. Once drv it looks better. Deep scratches may take several patient coats. Unsure about longevity, we’ll see. But it’s $6.

Review: I use this for moving for taping fragile items but it doesn’t stick well and I don’t understand it because this used to be the best tape ever. It doesn’t stick to the cardboard either. It is easy to tear and put in place but as far as stickability I would give it a 3 or 4.I don’t know if it’s because the way Amazon stores their tape supply, but the only thing that really works for me was Scotch BOX IT. And it’s not like I live in a high humidity area. I live in Southern California so I don’t get it. I bought this from the automotive supply all the time and it’s stuck really well but from Amazon most of the tapes don’t stick.

Review: I don’t have anything to compare this product to other than what I started with. Paint goes on great… Smooth and not tacky.I had to do a lot of work on some suspension parts on both driver and passenger side so I took advantage of the opportunity to cover some of the rust while I had things disassembled. I cleaned surfaces up with wire brushes on the drill and the paint adhered nicely. Brake dust guard looks eh bc it was eh to begin with. Rust on it was removed prior to painting and it’s texture does not worry me… It’s gonna last and save me money.I used half of the lil pail of paint to cover both sides w 2 coats.. I’ll have enough to cover other rust on the underbody if I get around to it. I’d purchase this product again.

Review: Used on my 70 ford station wagon floor and trunk. Some areas were fairly rotted but mostly all salvageable. Prepped the surface with a wire wheel on a grinder, cleaned and brush painted on. The paint sticks better to rust affected metal, the bright shiny metal and painted surfaces might need a second coat to look more uniform. Really impressed with the surface finish, (semi gloss black) no real noticeable brush strokes after it dries. The one 32oz tub is probably enough to do the entire station wagon interior but i ordered a second tub just in case. No harsh fumes and the paint washed out of my brush with water easily.

Review: I needed a product to touch up a gashed up rock slider and some superficial rust on another vehicle.I was debating between this, Por15, and rattle can Rustolium. I’m glad I went with this. It is cheaper than Por15 and a lot more durable than rattle can. It matches the Raptor Liner coating on the slider really well.Unlike a lot of other products, this drys better in higher humidity; which is a bonus for where I’m at in Florida.My only wish is that I had found it in a touch up size. I only needed a small amount, so I had to scoop out some to try to minimize air exposure to the rest of it. (This made a big mess of stuff that needed immediate cleaning.) Even quickly pulling a small amount out, I suspect the rest may be wasted before I use it again.

Review: Painted some lawn furniture that had rusted, cleaned the rust off and applied this paint, the furniture is out in the weather, but after just 2 weeks, rust is starting to show thru, also It is not Gloss black, more like satin finish, in my opinion, I have tried several coatings, and without a doubt, Benjamin Moore Super spec, HT, has held up the best, some outdoor furniture I have painted, exposed to the weather, have lasted over 5 years, and still going.

Title: Simply amazing, but will it last?
Review: My video should speak for itself – but in a word it’s AMAZING! I put it on a 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe with only 80K miles. It has that stupid plastic trim all around the bottom of the vehicle, including lower bumpers. The trim looked faded and weathered when I bought it, and nothing I did made it much better for any length of time. Armorall was about the best I could do, but it just didn’t last. Plus it attracted dirt.I figured I’d try one of these after reading other positive reviews. I opened a packet, and it looks almost like a cloth you’d clean up with after eating ribs or something. The cloth is moist, but not drippy, with whatever the magic solution is. Application is easy – you just wipe it slowly across the material. Immediately I was amazed at how well it looked, even with just one wipe. I really took my time, especially where the plastic meets the painted metal. It went on easier than armor all, which did not look as black as this does even after a lot of spraying.It took me about 80 minutes to do the whole vehicle, taking my time. The results are pretty much miraculous. I did it in the shade, and let it sit for quite a while before I rolled it out. It’s only been a couple days, but it looks just as amazing. I can also say I bought two packs because I just didn’t see how one package could do what they promised. I was wrong; one pack did the entire car and a bumper on another pickup.If this stuff holds up and looks anywhere near as amazing at a year, or even 6 months, I will be very happily surprised. I’ll update this at review when the time comes.

Title: Works and looks great
Review: I’m generally pretty skeptical of most products that claim they improve the look of faded plastic as they are always just temporary and come off in a matter of weeks or after your first car wash. But since this is ceramic coating it actually seems to be permanent. That said you need to be quite careful when applying it and follow all the instructions. Use gloves with this stuff as it definitely smells like it would be hazardous to have on your skin. I was sure to wash my car and then clean off all the plastic pieces I wanted to treat with isopropyl alcohol to remove any grease or chemicals that were left on the plastic. My Ford Bronco isn’t that old but I could tell the plastic was already starting to fade and there is quite a bit of it on the car so I wanted to pre treat it. A few months in it looks amazing. I’ve gone off roading, gotten paint on some of the fenders, and wash the car at least 30 times and the plastic pieces still look new. The coating is still very much intact and Wicks away most dirt and debris. I even sadly drove over some wet paint in the road and it was almost impossible to get off the areas I didn’t treat but the ones that did literally just wiped right off after it had already dried. Recommend this product but you need to make sure you use it properly and follow the instructions otherwise you will not get the results you want. I will say all the plastic on the new Bronco seems to be very porous and texturized so maybe it absorbed the product really well. I have not used it on any smooth plastic so I can’t speak to that.

Review: Used on my 2021 Soul X-linePros: Complete kit with vinyl gloves Each packet tears open easily (10 per box) Product goes on and spreads easily with very little to no drips or runs (have a microfiber towel in case of drip when using it first time) Each wipe can cover about 50% of trim on average vehicle ( I used two on mine and it has more trim than average Soul) Dries quickly and evenly (I let mine set for about 6 hrs to cure properly before driving that evening) Deep satin finish will refreshen old trim Haven’t needed to reapply for monthsCons: Pricey but worth it for quality and ease of use Slightly strong odor so make sure to use it with garage door open or in driveway outsideI definitely recommend trying it. Review: I used this product on a 2015 Nissan Rogue I bought about a month ago. Obviously the black plastic trim was pretty faded. I spent the time doing the prep work, washed my car, towel dried it so nothing dripped, then used blue dawn dish soap to wash all the plastic with a scrubby sponge and towel dried that all off. Also let it air dry while I picked up my kids from school and wiped it down once more with a clean dry towel to make sure any dirt was off. Started applying the Cerakote and was immediately happy with how it looked. I used 2 wipes for each side and 2 for both the front and rear.Turned out fantastic! There are some spots that may have been a little too far gone for the Cerakote to save but they are small and not very noticeable. Overall I am super happy with the results and how easy it was to get these results. The prep time was worth it to ensure I did everything properly so it would look nice when I was done.

Review: After reading many positive reviews, I decided to purchased to renew the faded plastic trim on my truck which was black when new but had faded to gray. I used 6 pads which covered all the faded trim and with only one application, the trim appears practically new. Appearance went from drab gray to black in one coating! After a day of rain a week later, I noticed the water beaded up on the trim! I applied it over 2 months ago now and the once grey plastic is still a rich, dark black!The product is super easy to apply, just ensure, you strip any waxes, contaminants from the surface and wipe on making sure to use the provided gloves. Doing the full car, I used about half of the provided wipes, so they’re very good value.On some surfaces, it can look a little streaky if you don’t go over it enough, or maybe add a little more than necessary, so try to keep it uniform and overlap and you shouldn’t have any issues.One thing for sure, I’ll never go back to using sprays or gels ever again!

Review: I used this compound on hood of fairly new car to remove bad water spots (really bad) that werethere for about 4 months at least. Spots were too much for suds factory spot remover. Title: Really impressive product
Review: Product worked very well to remove stubborn buildup on a 10 yr old vehicle and return it to a polished shine. I would describe this as a strong cleaner and polisher in one, which works impressively well for a relatively low price. I had some combo of water stains/marks, oxidation, and other gunk built up on the car, especially the hood and top. I began with a simple soft kitchen sponge and worked the product in repeating circles in small sections and it limited physical effort, I was able to loosen and remove all the stuff on there when I wiped the product away clean with a microfiber rag. I repeated this process over the hood, select other areas like the back of the mirrors, and then got to work on the top of the car which was the worst. I was most impressed by how relatively easy it was to use without scratching or damaging the paint – rather, it left behind a nice shine from just wiping it down and then giving it a little extra buff with a clean microfiber rag. Would most definitely recommend for freshening up neglected car paint, and even taking care of some other blemishes along the way. that said, I wouldnt say this was very effective on real nicks and scratches, but did help with some other blemishes along the way.

Ma migliora la situazione.. in ogni caso vi consiglio di fare una prova su una piccola porzione di vernice o quello che si vuole lucidare per vedere eventuali reazioni strane.. per grosse superfici ad esempio cofani e portiere di auto vi consiglio di procedere a piccole aree alla volta e di farlo in un luogo chiuso perché il prodotto tende a seccare presto rovinando il lavoro questo poi dipende se lo passate a mano o con uno strumento meccanico io che sono inesperto ho provato a mano, il risultato è buono ma ovviamente non sostituisce un lavoro fatto da un bravo carrozziere, concludo dicendo che se la vostra auto presenta ossidazione macchie d’acqua o di resina o graffi di piccola entità non profondi allora il prodotto è ottimo ma per problemi più gravi.. rivolgetevi a professionisti.

Title: Great for my use
Review: After a lot of research and consternation, I bought this product to help restore a 3-foot tall antique metal statue that had green oxidation on it in spots all over it from top to bottom. I used a rust remover on it, then stripped it of paint. It would not stay without oxidation and I had to do something. The owner wanted it back. So, I bought this and covered it carefully with two coats. It is beautiful when it is dry. It is not completely matte, nor is is glossy. It is a bit closer to satin finish but on the matte side. It covered the oxidation and, though I have only had 24 hours since I put this on it, the oxidation hasn’t seeped through. I painted another piece of metal with it and tried out the gold paint I want to use to cover the black. It looks FABULOUS! I can’t wait to paint the gold. It will give this statue a whole new lease on life!The paint is house paint consistency. It is easy to paint on and can be painted on thick or thin. It comes with a brush and rubber gloves and it all cleans up with water. (I cleaned the brush in an old plastic container then poured the water in an out-of-the-way place in our yard which would not affect our plants or dogs. I didnt think it was a good idea to put the clean-up water down the drain.) This product was less expensive than other similar products so I feel I got good value for my money. If I have any follo-up comments over time, I will add them.

Review: I initially wanted to just spray-paint my patio set that had seen some humidity-caused rust (the set was always under an exterior roof and not exposed to rain), but I saw this product and thought it would make more sense to treat the oxidation rather than cover it up. I did see some reviews that suggested that it isn’t really doing a chemical treatment, but rather just covering up like paint would, but I figured I’d give it a try.After applying it with the included brush (gloves are also included), I went back a few hours later with a second light coat just to even out the coloring and figured I’d have to paint it later since people mentioned it is a primer. To me, the set looks the same shade of black as when I bought it, so I’m just leaving it as is. I’ve enclosed that patio space now, so the likelihood of rust returning is lower, so we’ll see how things go…I don’t have any residue wiping off, and no fumes or other problems have manifested, so I see no need to go over it with paint at this point. The only thing I’ll say is that spray painting would have likely been quicker, but also messier since it seems like any time I spray something it gets everywhere, even in low winds.

Title: Rust converter or encapsulator
Review: Rust converter or encapsulator…I build and work on a lot of cars, street rods and racecars. Engine building, Bodywork, Welding, Wiring, plumbing and fabrication is a large part of what I do in the process of restoring classic cars. I’m always searching for that magic product that will truly neutralize rust by converting it to an inert coating that will no longer continue its corrosive activity on the steel. In order to pass the test and prove its abilities as a rust converter, it must be able to show that the oxidation was fully converted right down to the base metal. I did 1 and 2 coat tests on a mildly rusted vent from a classic car. The coats were applied per instructions. The first attempt to remove the converted rust was done with a scotch-brite pad, then a stainless steel pad, then 80g sandpaper. Looking at my photos, you can clearly see that the converted rust was not converted at all, but encapsulated/or/painted.I keep up with my reviews and will revisit this one should the need arise.I give this rust “treatment” my Big-Foot “Stomp” of 3 stars!

Review: I recently tried the Meuvcol 2-in-1 Rust Converter & Metal Primer on a few rusted areas, and my first impressions are really positive. It was easy to apply and immediately converted the rust into a black protective coating that also serves as a primer. The product saved me time and effort by eliminating the need for extensive sanding before application.While it seems to create a durable and smooth surface, I haven’t had the chance to see how well it holds up over the long term. So far, it looks promising, and I’m hopeful that the protection will last. Perfect for quick rust repairs and prepping metal for painting!
