Title: Hard to Solder As Is…
Review: The adapter seems sturdy and well made. The plastic housing is thick enough and not flimsy. My only complaint is that the connectors inside to which you need to solder the wires have no lugs or holes to secure the wires in place to solder them. I am not an expert in soldering, but have done my share over the years as an amateur radio operator. I was not able to do it as is. I ended up drilling small holes in the connectors through which to pass the wire to hold them in place. Once I did that it soldered just fine, I reassembled it, and everything worked great.

Review: The way it’s molded, there’s absolutely nowhere either wire can go. The positive blocks of views, and the molding inside is flush, so there’s nowhere for the negative wire to be soldered.

Title: Easy to work with
Review: Typical plug design with good components. Requires soldering of the wires but anyone with decent soldering ability and experience with stranded wires should have no problems. It comes with a rubber boot to protect the wire from sharp bends and there is enough room inside the plug to add a wire tie around the wire to strain relief against wire pulls. Each plug has a 15 amp fuse already installed plus it comes with 2 additional bags of fuses. One bag has 4, 15 amp fuses and the second bag has 4, 20 amp fuses. If you don’t like the LED light, you can simply cut the LED wire.
