How to use:
1. Clean Surface: The surface should be clean, dry and dust-free so the tape sticks properly.
2. Apply Tape: Lay tape onto the surface, pressing down as you go. Don’t stretch the tape, or it may lift or break.
3. Secure Tape: Press tape down firmly with a smooth edge, like a putty knife or credit card.
4. Let Tape Set: Wait about 30 to 60 minutes before you begin painting.
5. Wait: Wait until the paint is dry to the touch before removing the tape. Check the paint can for the manufacturer’s dry times.
6. Score: Use a putty knife or razor blade to score along the edge of the tape. This prevents paint from being pulled up with the tape and from cracking along the paint line.
7. Tape: Taking your time, lift up the painter’s tape and pull it back on itself, removing at a 45 degree angle. If adhesive sticks to the surface, try a 90-degree angle.
8. Clean Finish: You’ll get a sharp, clean line and a professional looking paint job!

Impotant:
After sticking the tape, proper pressure can effectively improve the stickiness.
Masking tape should take into account the balance between the continuous stickiness and easy to tear with no residue. If you want strong adhesion when you use it, you can press along the tape properly with your hand after the tape is affixed.

Title: It’s ok

Title: Versatile and a great value
Review: I use this tape for building scale models, not working on cars. I need a variety of tapes with different properties. The Lichamp masking tape has multiple purposes for me. One is that I can airbrush a crisp line. However it has a high adhesion for model making purposes, so I use it on non painted surfaces. Model paints themselves do not have high adhesion, especially acrylics. This is unique to my hobby so I don’t know how it will work for automotive purposes.Even though it has high adhesion, it comes off very clean. In my picture, you can see a small piece of tape with some blue paint in one spot. The spot is where I tested it on something I had painted with acrylics a month ago. I expected the paint to come off. But the Lichamp tape does NOT leave residue. This is remarkable for a tape with adhesion this strong.The paper of the tape allows for some flexibility. For building scale models I’ll use a different tape for curved lines. Again, I can’t say how it’ll work for automotive uses. The Lichamp tape is very strong. This combined with it removing cleanly gives it multiple uses for my hobby. I can use it to mask large, unpainted areas, cut masks and hold parts for various purposes. It’s most important use for me is to hold parts together for assembly. An example would be holding the halves of a model airplane fuselage together while the glue dries. It’s strength and high adhesion allows me to pull it very tight, thus resulting in a better seam. It is superior to any tape I have for this. I’m glad I ordered this it’s a great value.

Title: Not worth the price
Review: Well you get what you pay for, I thought I’d try this tape out I will definitely never buy it again it leaves a ton of residue behind when exposed to heat and now i have to clean up residue from the tape all over the car great!
