Title: Great For Other Uses Besides Painting
Review: I have to admit I got this for another purpose other than painting. I ship a lot of things that require being wrapped in bubble wrap, packing material, and other protective materials. I need those things to stay in place but regular tape makes it very hard for my customers to remove when they receive their purchase. Masking tape is the perfect solution. This masking tape is exactly what I hoped for when I ordered it. It stays in place well enough to hold the wrapping materials in place, but comes off easily enough when you are ready to open it. It’s great and I highly recommend the tape.The microfiber towels were a pleasant surprise. I didn’t see them mentioned in the listing, but I love them. They are 16″ x 12″ with green on one side, gray on the other and have black trim with a little loop that allows you to hang them. I’m using one to take to the gym to wipe down equipment after I’ve used it and the other for cleaning around the house. So these are awesome.I did not receive the black marker that was in the picture. No big deal as far as I am concerned, but others may care. I saw that at least one other reviewer mentioned not receiving the towels so I suggest you open the box immediately to make sure you got everything you were expecting. Even without the marker though this would be a great deal. A lot of bang for my buck.

Title: Basically painters tape.
Review: Handy box of painters tape for virtually any painting project where you need to mask something off or want to create a neat line between different colors. The are also heat resistant, which is handy for painting projects that require heat lamps or the use of an over to properly cure the paint/coating. Reasonable value.

Title: Better performance and value than Blue tape
Review: I am not using this tape for painting at the moment, and I doubt many of the reviewers are. However, I am using it in automotive detailing and I’m really impressed. I use this tape to protect painted surfaces when I’m restoring rubber, fabric roofs, and trim. Many of the chemicals used to restore those surfaces can damage paint and the paint’s finish. Since this tape comes in direct contact with the chemicals and applicators, it’s important that it’s tough and has an excellent seal.I was restoring some oxidized aluminium trim on a car that required me to first strip the clear coat from it. Since this trip is right against the paint it was important for it to be protected. The West Horse tape is really easy to work with and made the process of masking everything off a breeze. I was really happy to see that not a molecule of solvent that I used was able to penetrate the tapes bond on the paint when I was done.As for the value, this is less expensive than the Blue tape AND the other amphibian Green tape at the store. I would say that this performs at least as good, if not significantly better than both of those options.Recommended.

Title: Nice automotive painters tape
Review: I build and work on a lot of cars, street rods and racecars. Bodywork, Welding, Wiring, plumbing and fabrication is a large part of what I do. I saw this tape at a price-point of 1/2 what I normally pay. I thought Iâd give it a shot. In the process of priming and painting a project car, I put this tape through its paces. It sealed well with no bleed through or seepage. The adhesive did not leave any residue. The microfiber towels and pen were a nice bonus.I keep up with my reviews and will revisit this one should the need arise.I give this painters tape my Big-Foot âStompâ of approval and 5 stars!

Review: I got this painter’s tape to do a pinstripe job on my boat. The tape came off the roll very nicely without tearing. I’ve used plenty of painter’s tape and a lot of it is either too thin or sticks to itself too much and those issues often cause the tape to break as you take it off the roll. A major pain when trying to lay out nice straight lines. This tape doesn’t have those issues. That in itself is worth the price.The tape sticks to fibreglass very well and comes off without any glue left behind. It also doesn’t allow paint to bleed under the tape edge. So the end result is a nice sharp, crisp line once the tape is removed. The tape is wide enough to stop overspray or to tape plastic or paper to catch overspray.The added items are fine. I don’t have a need for the marker but the microfibre cloths are very good quality and useful for this and other jobs.Very good product and a great value for the quality.

Review: Im an artist and I generally have tons of use for painters tape. Occasionally its even for the intended purpose. Of course the thing to look for is tape that leaves a clean line with no bleeding or jaggedness, or else whats the point. This tape delivers beautifully. I get clean crisp lines with no residue left on my surface even when I have let it sit for a while. Its easy to apply and remove and has just the right amount of strength not to be fragile but still tear easily. The microfiber towels they include are really nice too. Very soft. I think this would probably be a very good set for car detailing but its great for other uses too.

Review: Package arrive undamaged and contained all the items identified on the product page.I am not an automotive painter, but I do a lot of house painting and this tape works great for making off areas you don’t want paint on. You might think all tapes are created equally but they’re not. Some tape adhesives are gummy and stick to the roll, causing the tape to tear as you’re trying to mask stuff. Some tapes leave a residue on the wall or are so sticky they sometimes peel the paint off the wall with it. This tape peels off the roll smooth and and adheres to the wall well but comes off easy leaving a sharp edge, no bleeding.You might think $10 a roll is a lot for masking tape but depending on your project it’s worth every penny to not have top repaint something because your $2 roll bled paint or removed paint when you pulled it off. My time is worth more than the cost of the product.

Review: I tested this painter’s tape on my painted drywall.It has good adhesion, it is easy to remove, and it leaves zero residue.It is easy to tear off a piece from the roll by hand.I taped off a segment of my countertop to test how well its claims of anti-penetration worked. I poured water overtop the strip of paint and left it for a minute. When I peeled the tape off my counter, the area that had been covered by the tape was bone dry. The underside (the sticky side) of the tape also was dry.When I opened the box of 6 rolls of tape, I didn’t see the two microfibre towels. I was so disappointed. But then I discovered the towels were rolled up and inserted into the empty core formed by the stack of tape rolls. Jubilation ensued. The towels are absorbent, though not as absorbent as a cotton dishcloth. The towels are soft and fluffy. They’re so nice that I’m loathe to use them to wipe up paint.The marker that comes with this package is a mini black marker. It’s very juicy and dark.Verdict:I’m very pleased with the tape, towels, and marker in this package.Good for any paint job, inside the house or out.5/5

Review: Right off the bat, this is an excellent set. Everything comes in a cool little box and the tape was nicely protected. The consistency is thicker and more opaque than ordinary painters tape and it comes off the roll slower too. But it sticks just as well and the fact that you get over 160 meters of the stuff is plenty for at least 3 large rooms. The marker is super cheap though with a cap that doesn’t click on, so it’s really an afterthought. No biggie.Fortunately, the included microfiber towels are superb – VERY thick and with an awesome hanging loop in the corner for drying. Kinda wish all microfibers came with that. Not too sure that the raised stitched edge was a great idea in case you need an edge or corner for detail work, but at least it’ll keep the material from fraying over time. Love that you get both a bright side (green) and a dark side (grey) depending on how much contrast you need. Good thinking.Overall, the tape and microfibers (you get 2) are both great. The marker is essentially just a cheap little addition, but it works and it’s small enough to hide in your pocket. Personally I prefer keeping a better, larger marker with a clip on my tool belt in case I need to use it with gloves, but the baby one could act as a decent backup. Full marks from me!
