Title: Works great
Review: Cuts easy. The backer tape makes it easy to install without making a mess. Sticks right away and appears to be resistant to outdoor environment. I am using it to secure the trim on my vehicle and it has held well! The thickness is made with a plastic material that is similar to a foam so that doesn’t appear to be at risk of rotting away.

Title: Works great!!
Review: I got this tape to reposition a rain guard that came loose on my car. The adhesion is much stronger than anything I’ve worked with before. Couple tips: be careful where you put down the tape. You will not be able to pull it off and reposition. Make sure the surfaces are all clean and dry before applying tape. I gave the rain guard and window crevice several good passes with rubbing alcohol. As soon as I put the guard back in, it was fully secured. Left the window up for a couple days to hold the guard in place, just as a precaution. But it was firmly in place right at the start. Great product!

Title: The way to fix a sagging headliner
Review: The foam rubber on headliners breaks down over time and they usually start to come apart where the liner meets the back windshield. Wipe off the loose foam on the edge and use this tape. You’re still going to have to replace the headliner eventually, but this can buy you some time and the repair is barely noticeable. Any other adhesive or tape will result in an immediate headliner replacement. This is the ONLY product that I have come across that produces acceptable results.

Title: Secure and Versatile, with a Slight Learning Curve – 3M Exterior Attachment Tape Review
Review: The 3M Exterior Attachment Tape has proven to be a reliable and versatile solution for securing moldings, emblems, and trim on my vehicle’s exterior. While it offers a strong bond and ease of application, there are a few considerations to keep in mind. The tape’s adhesive properties are impressive, ensuring a secure attachment of various exterior elements. I’ve used it to affix moldings and emblems, and I’m pleased with the durability and longevity of the bond. Even when exposed to different weather conditions, the tape has held up well. The 1/4-inch width and 5-yard length offer ample tape for multiple applications, making it a cost-effective choice for various projects. The tape is easy to cut to the desired length, and the roll design allows for convenient storage and access. However, I did encounter a slight learning curve when it came to applying the tape. The adhesive is strong, which is beneficial for secure attachment, but it also means that precise placement is crucial. Once the tape makes contact, it adheres firmly, leaving little room for repositioning. This requires careful planning and accuracy during application.Additionally, I recommend thoroughly cleaning and preparing the surface before applying the tape. Any residue or contaminants can affect the tape’s adhesion and longevity. In summary, the 3M Exterior Attachment Tape offers a strong and reliable solution for securing exterior moldings, emblems, and trim. Its adhesive properties are commendable, and the tape’s width and length provide flexibility for various applications. While the initial application may require careful consideration due to its strong adhesive, the results are worth the effort. For those seeking a dependable attachment tape for their vehicle’s exterior, the 3M Exterior Attachment Tape is a solid choice, deserving of a four-star rating.

Review: As long as you start off with a clean surface, somewhat smooth, it sticks, so get it on right the first time.

Title: Great product
Review: This is a fairly thin strip of double sided tape. I used it to put an exterior trim piece back on after the previous tape had failed, and it is actually much more secure now. It is quite easy to use, simply cut, peel, and stick. The roll size is quite substantial too, I had plenty left over after fitting the piece on.

Title: SECURES WHATEVER TRIM IS LOOSE ON THE OUTSIDE OF YOUR CAR
Review: Used it to secure the edge on a section of cladding. Impressive, clean, and no more rattling when the door is closed. Awesome. Do it yourself and save yourself the $300 the body shop will charge you. All you need are some alcohol wipes to clean things up before you start. 1. Cut the length(s) sections you need. 2) Find a way to hold the plastic trim away from the body panel. 3) Hold the section of tape onto the clean surface so it’s straight and level. Stick all the pieces of tape where you need them. 4) USING TWEEZERS, peel off the red plastic on all the strips. 5) Press the parts together and you’re done.
