When the charger is in Trickle mode, it will monitor the voltage of battery even though the screen is showing OFF, once the voltage drop under 12.5 Volts, the charger will automatically turn back on and charge it to full and maintain the voltage as normal. Force 12V mode: If the charger accidentally recognizes the 12V battery as a 6V battery (for example, the power of 12V battery is less than 6 Volts), you can press and hold the Mode button for 5 seconds, and the charger will be forced to switch to the 12V charging mode.

Title: Trickle charger
Review: It does exactly what it promises. Maybe not as fast as it promises but it gets the job done and is compatible with every battery I attached it to so far. It seems pretty durable it has an awesome design easy to use It keeps the battery charged and has a lot of value for the money. Don’t settle for a non-durable battery charger that is going to leave you drained in uncharged like my boss does.

Title: The best charger, with exactly what you need in a small package.
Review: This little charger is fantastic! Itâs a 1.75A charger that out performs my larger old trickle charger. Itâs a smart unit with an easy to read display. (One thing to note: it will specifically NOT work for LiFePO4 batteries. This will NOT do the charging profile required for ONLY those batteries, But it works VERY well for AGM and standard batteries.)I bought it to use the de-sulfate feature on some old UPS batteries, but they were too far gone. However, Iâve used it on my Harley battery as a regular charger and itâs been strong and reliable. It starts out as a regular charger, then shuts off when the battery is full, then automatically goes into trickle mode as it needs to.Itâs got a great feature in that it displays what itâs doing. The display toggles back and forth showing the exact volts and amps itâs putting out as well as the graphical display of the battery filling up.Itâs a âset up and leave it goâ thing that will shut down when the battery doesnât need it or it will turn back on when itâs needed.Recently my truck battery was too low to turn it over so I connected this charger. I like the voltmeter display. It showed 11.2v before I plugged it into the wall. Once plugged in, this unit displayed exactly what it was doing and had me up and fully charged over night.The next day I did notice that when I moved the cord at the connection, the screen went dark. I surmised that there are broken wires in the SAE plug. I contacted the seller asking for a new SAE plug to solder on, and they wrote back overnight that they are sending me an entire new unit! What great customer service!This is a great little charger that does all that I need backed by a company with great customer service!

Review: Edited on Sept 2, 2022:Nexpeak contacted me in regards to my battery charger issue that I was having as noted below. They provided a replacement charger to me as they had not received any prior complaints in regards to the trickle charge mode not coming back on once the battery voltage dropped. I tested the replacement battery charger functions and found that the replacement does work correctly, the trickle charge mode turns the charger “off” once the battery is fully charged at approximately 14.8 volts, I loaded the fully charged battery to draw the voltage down and found that the replacement charger turns back on and starts trickle charging again once my voltage dropped to approximately 12.1 volts.I was surprised that Nexpeak contacted me with concern that their charger did not work properly for me, this shows that they do care about their products and their customers.I have raised my rating from one star to four stars, primarily for the customer service received by Nexpeak, I deducted one star for the original faulty charger that I received.My original review on Aug 21, 2022:My charger does not work as advertised, I tested each function over the past week on a known good battery. The charge and the repair function work fine, my issue is with the most critical function of this charger which is the maintain/trickle mode.Once the battery reaches a full state of charge the maintain/trickle function shuts the charger OFF despite what it states in the directions. I suspected that the charger may be monitoring the state of charge on the fully charged battery and would come back on once the battery voltage dropped to a specified voltage range but it does not! I used my load tester to drop the battery voltage (after my charger shut off in maintain/trickle mode) and the charger NEVER came back on to sustain a state of charge in my battery (I load tested my fully charged battery down to 11.5 volts an this charger never came back on!).Not having a slow charge maintain/trickle mode that works correctly is a no go for me as I planned on using this battery charger to maintain the battery on our wave runner during the winter. Using this charger for any length of time in maintain/trickle mode may leave you with a dead battery!!

Review: Bought this to keep the battery in premium condition for the car I have in storage for the winter. So far, seems to work perfectly. The battery had been in storage for about 1 month. The unit, on Trickle setting, brought the battery to full then turned off as the manual indicated. I’ll update with an image if I can catch it activating to keep the charge at optimal rate.

Review: The device is sufficiently small to let it sit under the closed car hood while charging the battery. Very practical if you need to charge your car battery with the car parked outside the garage.It is also small enough to be packed away in the car to take it along on trips.I was very pleased and surprised to be able to repair our old car battery that had died completely during several nights of -13°C cold nights after not having used the car for a week.At first I tried my jump starter to start the car and it failed. Then I bought and I tried this battery charger in Regular Charge Mode and it could not charge the old battery. The I tried this battery charger using its Battery Repair Mode and after half a day the battery was charged to Full which was impressive to see.I have had no problems with the same old car battery after the Repair Charge. Highly recommended.

Review: Having already owned a trickle charger I bought this one with the intention of having the ability to always charge my car with the quick connect SAE charger I purchased this item using the battery adaptor and then I bought a 50ft SAE extension cord. And now Iâm able to charge my battery from the furthest part of my driveway. The smart charger is very convenient due to the fact that it shuts off when the battery charging is full, which makes it convenient for me specially, during winter time because I had just changed my car stereo and it sucks up a lot more battery now.
